Suburban Thread Seamstress: Cari Williams

Cari Williams started out by designing and sewing curtains and unique
decorations for her home. A friend found out that she could sew and encouraged her to sew a line of baby merchandise since she was then pregnant with her second son.

In January 2006, Cari started sewing under the Suburban Thread label creating the Lil’ Snuggli Set and Burps. As her business grew, the line has expanded to include girl’s tees and jeans and boys tees. Future plans have her carrying other baby gifts such as rock and roll lullaby CDs, vintage rock baby t-shirts, and other unique gifts.

At the present time the Suburban Thread line is carried at City Limits and Shea Photography various boutique shows and on this current internet site www.suburbanthread.net.

A lifelong native of the Midwest, Cari earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Cari and her husband Ryan live in south Olathe, Kansas with their two boys, Aidan and Bennett.
